Alan Secor of Morehead Enrolls at Centre College

Alan Secor of Morehead has enrolled this year at Centre College, joining Centre's largest-ever first year class and largest overall enrollment. Academically, more than half were in the top 10 percent of their high school class, and the average ACT score is nearly 29. This first-year class will also be witness as Centre steps onto the world stage as host to the only vice presidential debate of 2012, being called by many the most important debate of this election cycle.

Secor is the son of John Secor of Morehead and Allie Secor of Hillsboro and is a graduate of Rowan County High School.

Centre College, founded in 1819, is a nationally ranked liberal arts college in Danville, Ky. Centre will host its second Vice Presidential Debate on 10.11.12, and remains the smallest college in the smallest town ever to host a general election debate.
