Bret Marshall named to SCAC Honor Roll

The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) named Centre College freshman Bret Marshall of Danville to its Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll for the 2009 fall term. The College set a new record with 74 student-athletes securing a spot.

In order to qualify, an athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in sports sponsored by the conference.

Marshall competed on the football team at Centre. He is the son of Mike Marshall and Carol Webb-Marshall of Danville, and is a graduate of Boyle County High School.
