Brooks Johnson performs in Centre College Orchestra concert

Brooks Johnson of Richmond, a freshman at Centre College, performed in the Centre Orchestra fall concert Nov. 19. The concert was held in Newlin Hall in the College's Norton Center for the Arts with conductor Steven Pederson.

Johnson played tuba in a program that included pieces by Mussorgsky, Franck, Brahms, and Rachmaninov.

He is the son of Marilou Grace Johnson of Richmond and is a graduate of Madison Central High School.
