Cara Monical performs in Centre College Orchestra concert

Cara Monical of Houston, a sophomore at Centre College, performed in the Centre Orchestra fall concert Nov. 19. The concert was held in Newlin Hall in the College's Norton Center for the Arts with conductor Steven Pederson.

Monical played bassoon and was a principal in a program that included pieces by Mussorgsky, Franck, Brahms, and Rachmaninov.

She is the daughter of Mark and Valerie Monical of Houston and is a graduate of Clear Lake High School.
