2013 Jan 23

Emily Badgley of Xenia, a sophomore at Centre College, studied abroad in Borneo during CentreTerm, the College's unique, three-week winter term.

The trip to Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo introduced students to the third largest island and most biodiverse region on the globe. Daily hiking expeditions and an extended camping trip targeted pristine tracts of tropical forest and a rugged terrain rich with natural formations and endemic species.

Badgley is the daughter of Michael and Meg Badgley of Xenia and is a graduate of Miami Valley School.
