George Best performs in Centre College Orchestra concert

George Best of Centerville, a junior at Centre College, performed in the Centre Orchestra fall concert Nov. 19. The concert was held in Newlin Hall in the College's Norton Center for the Arts with conductor Steven Pederson.

Best played trombone/euphonium in a program that included pieces by Mussorgsky, Franck, Brahms, and Rachmaninov.

He is the son of Ward and Thelma Best of Centerville and is a graduate of Centerville High School.
