Mollie Nitzken graduates from Centre College

Mollie Nitzken of Louisville received a BA in Spanish and studio art at Centre College's 191st Commencement, held on Sunday, May 25 at the College's Norton Center for the Arts. She was one of three hundred and twenty-five seniors who were granted degrees, a class that posted an impressive four-year graduation rate topping 84 percent -- the highest graduation rate among all Kentucky colleges and universities. Governor Steven L. Beshear was this year's featured Commencement speaker.

Nitzken is the daughter of Marianne and Marty Nitzken and is a graduate of Assumption High School.
